Relationships

A friend recently lamented that relationships just take up too much time.
Well, yes, relationships do take up a lot a time, but to me it is time well spent. The more I think about it the more I think that relationships are what makes the world go round and makes everything so worthwhile.
The Number one Relationship - God.
No time spent the Lord is wasted. Often, in our busy lives, we relegate this number one relationship to last.
How beautifully the day starts when it begins with God. Take time to commit the day to him, and ask his blessing on each activity and each family member. Read his word, think upon it. Then when trouble comes, as it so predictably does, we have that place to run, to hide, to confess, and to renew our strength. Oh, I have so much to learn and so far to go in my number one relationship. I can go on in the strength of my Lord to make and grow other relationships, as I draw in close to him..

A New Era

A new era begins for me today, June 7, 2008. First time blogging. So now I will have to think of some interesting stuff to write about.
